Woodcutters and God of mountains

나뭇꾼과 산신령

Once upon a time there was a woodcutter.

Lee YoungJa, a fat common woman, was his wife.

One day, Lee YoungJa fell into the lake.

He sat down at the lake and continued to cry.

Then the God of mountains who felt pitty on him came out from the lake.

He looked at the God of mountains with great surprise.

옛날에 나무꾼이 있었다.

그의 부인은 이영자였다.

어느날 그 이영자는 숲속 호수에 빠져버렸다. 나무꾼은 호수 앞에서 계속 울었다.

그러자...나무꾼을 불쌍히 여긴 산신령이 호수에서 나오는 것이었다.

나무꾼은 깜짝놀라서 산신령을 바라보았다.

God of mountains : Why are you so crying in a mournful manner?

산신령 : 왜 그리 슬피 우는가?

Woodcutter : Because my wife fell into the lake.

나무꾼 : 제 부인이 호수에 빠져서 그럽니다.

God : Just a moment!

After a few minutes, God came out with Elizabeth Taylor and asked :

God : Is this woman your wife?

산신령 : 잠깐만 기다려라

몇 분 후 산신령은 최지우를 데리고 나오더니 물었다.

산신령 : 이 여자가 네 아내냐?

Woodcutter : No...

Then, the God came down the lake and came out again with Marilyn Monroe and asked :

God of Mountains : Is this woman your wife?

나무꾼 : 아니요..

또 몇 분 후 산신령은 김희선을 데리고 나오더니 물었다.

산신령 : 이 여자가 네 아내냐?

Woodcutter : No...

Again, after a few minutes the God of mountain came out with Lee YoungJa and asked :

나무꾼 : 아니요..

또 몇 분 후 산신령은 이영자를 데리고 나오더니 물었다.

God of Mountains : Is this woman you wife?

Woodcutter : Yes...

산신령 : 이 여자가 네 아내냐?

나무꾼 : 네...

Then, the God of mountains said with satisfaction “You are so honest!,” and gave Elizabeth Taylor and Marilyn Monroe to the woodcutter.

그러자 산신령은 “~~~정직하도다.” 그러면서 최지우와 김희선을 모두 나무꾼에게 줬다...

This story spread throughout the town quickly.

And one greedy woodcutter decided to do as he had done.

However, his wife was a beautiful women like Elizabeth Taylor.

He did as the previous woodcutter had done.

He dropped his wife into the lake and cried continuously.

Then, the God of mountains came out from the lake and zipped up and said :

얘기가 마을에 퍼졌다..

한 나무꾼이 이 이야기를 듣고 따라하기로 결정했다..

그의 아내는 김혜수였다.

나무꾼이 한 것처럼 똑같이 따라했다.

나무꾼은 아내를 일부로 물속에 넣고 계속 울었다...

그러자....산신령 딱 나오면서 하는 말 왈, 지퍼를 올리면서 나무꾼에게 말하기를

"Thank you."

"고맙다“
